Job summary

TrueCare in Oceanside, CA seeks an Operations Manager II to oversee daily operations of an FQHC site or department, supervising 35+ staff and ensuring policy adherence, patient access, and efficient clinical flow. You’ll partner with clinical leadership to drive performance, quality improvement, and exceptional patient service.

We value mission-driven leaders with 5+ years in healthcare operations and 3+ years of supervisory experience; bilingual English/Spanish bonus is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in health services administration, business administration, public administration, public health, or related field.
• Minimum of five years’ experience in a medical, health, or social services setting.
• Minimum of three years’ management or supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, legal and technical aspects of a medical records system, and ICD-10 and CPT codes.
• Bonus points if bilingual (English/Spanish) or community clinic experience.

Your Role & Impact

The Manager II, Operations is responsible for the day-to-day operations of an assigned TrueCare Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) site or department including direct and indirect supervision of 35 or more employees. This role focuses on tactical execution and frontline management, including staff supervision, clinical flow, and operational compliance. The Manager II, Operations ensures health center policies and procedures are followed consistently, patient access and flow are optimized, and a high standard of patient-centered customer service is delivered. This position partners closely with site clinical leadership to support operational performance, program requirements, and quality improvement initiatives.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in health services administration, business administration, public administration, public health, or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience relevant to the position.
• A minimum of five(5) years’ experience in a medical, health, or social services setting.
• A minimum of three(3) years’ management or supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, legal and technical aspects of a medical records system, and ICD-10 and CPT codes.
• Bonus points if you’re bilingual (English/Spanish) or have community clinic experience!
