Job summary

Triumph Group in Forest, Ohio is seeking a Manager I, Operations to lead site manufacturing operations and drive performance across welding and machining lines. You will partner with the site leadership to meet schedule, cost and quality goals while promoting a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 5+ years in manufacturing, with strong lean and union experience.

Qualifications

BA/BS in Business Administration, Engineering or related field
Five (5) years manufacturing experience
Experience leading an operation with welding and machining lines
Experience leading production operations in a low volume/high mix environment
Proven leadership of 50+ employees
Lean/continuous improvement experience
Experience communicating with customers
ITAR/EAR citizenship requirement

Responsibilities

Lead production operations to meet schedule, cost, and quality goals.
Act as change agent to drive lean culture and the Triumph Operating System (TOS).
Develop operations budgets and analyze monthly financial statements.
Establish KPIs and report progress to executives, management, and customers.
Attract, retain and develop top talent for a high-performance team.
Coordinate with Program Management to ensure clear customer communication.
