Job summary

Neovia Logistics in Alabama is seeking an Operations Manager to manage, plan, and coordinate facility operations, ensuring efficient use of materials and labor to meet business requirements. You will develop policies, oversee daily workflow, manage purchasing and distribution activities, and drive cost optimization while leading and developing your team in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university (preferred).
• 3-5 years of operations, warehouse, and logistics experience.
• Six Sigma experience (preferred).

• Manage, plan, or coordinate work within corporate strategies, policy frameworks and designs, and implement operational strategies, as set by corporate policies to meet both short and long term goals.
• Manage, plan, or coordinate the purchasing of materials and equipment to ensure an uninterrupted supply at optimal cost.
• Manage, plan, or coordinate all operational activities required for timely and efficient distribution of products.
• Manage, plan, or coordinate the support for a client’s operation and optimize costs.
• Manage, plan, or coordinate subordinate staff, reviews, and assesses performance, supports their professional development to optimize their contribution.
• Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Requires work in an environment with frequently changing temperatures.
• Requires frequent walking, carrying, reaching, standing, and stooping.
• Requires lifting/lowering, pushing, or pulling of various items of varying weight.

ADDITIONAL INFO
