University of Alabama at Birmingham seeks an Operations Manager for HSOM to lead planning, management and analysis of clinical practice operations, academic program development, information systems, human resources and compliance. The role serves as the principal advisor to the Executive Administrator and Vice Chairs for Clinical Affairs and Quality on clinical administrative matters.

To ensure successful planning, management and analysis of clinical practice operations, academic program development, information systems, human resources and compliance, to optimize the department s operational activities. To serve as the principle advisor to the Executive Administrator and the Vice Chair(s) for Clinical Affairs and Quality on all clinical administrative matters pertaining to the Department. To partner with other senior members in the Department, in the Heersink School of Medicine (HSOM), in the Health Services Foundation and in the UAB Health System regarding all aspects of clinical and academic program development to ensure timely and fiscally responsible execution. To oversee operations of the department including financial, planning and human resources (HR) responsibilities.
Salary Range: $67,070 - $92,000
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field and seven (7) years of related experience required. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement.
