Job summary

Miconestaffing is seeking an Operations Manager focused on HR, administration, and business operations in a manufacturing setting. The role drives HR, onboarding, training, policy maintenance, and compliance while supporting ERP and finance-related tasks.

The position requires hands-on leadership, strong HR experience, and ability to work across departments. Hours are Monday–Friday, with a competitive salary and benefits after 90 days.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of HR experience, preferably generalist
• Strong knowledge of employment laws, benefits, workers’ comp, and HR compliance
• Previous leadership or management experience
• ERP/HRIS and Microsoft 365 experience preferred
• Manufacturing experience is a plus
• Excellent organization and multitasking skills
• Ability to handle confidential matters professionally
• Ownership mentality and hands-on approach

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day HR functions: recruiting, employee relations, benefits, compliance, performance management, HR records
• Serve as HR resource for employees and management

$85,000–$101,000 DOE | Direct Hire | Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM

Step Into a Key Leadership Role

We’re looking for an experienced Operations Manager to join an established manufacturing organization and take ownership of several critical areas of the business, with Human Resources as the primary focus.

This is a planned succession hire due to an upcoming retirement, creating an excellent opportunity to join the organization with time for training and knowledge transfer.

The ideal candidate is hands-on, organized, self-motivated, and comfortable wearing multiple hats. You don’t need to be an expert in everything — strong HR experience is the priority. Ops Mgr 2026 (2)

What You’ll Own

• Lead day-to-day Human Resources functions, including recruiting, employee relations, benefits, compliance, performance management, and HR records
• Serve as an HR resource for employees and management
• Manage onboarding, training, coaching, corrective action, and employee-related matters
• Maintain policies, handbook updates, required postings, and employment compliance
• Oversee benefits administration, workers’ compensation, OSHA documentation, and safety administration
• Track key HR metrics including headcount, turnover, and training

Finance & ERP Support

You don't need to be a Controller or an IT expert.

This position will also support the company's accounting and ERP systems, including data accuracy, user permissions, workflows, reporting, purchasing, inventory, and month-end processes. Ops Mgr 2026 (2)

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of Human Resources experience, preferably in a generalist capacity
• Strong knowledge of employment laws, benefits, workers’ compensation, and HR compliance
• Previous leadership or management experience
• Strong computer skills; ERP/HRIS and Microsoft 365 experience preferred
• Manufacturing experience is a plus
• Exceptional organization and multitasking skills
• Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive matters professionally
• Someone who takes ownership, follows through, and isn't afraid to jump in and get things done

• $85,000–$101,000 annually, depending on experience
• Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM
