Responsibilities

• Oversee planning, scheduling and coordinating transportation and logistics activities to ensure timely delivery.
• Develop and implement operational policies, procedures and systems to improve efficiency, quality and safety.
• Manage staff including hiring, training and performance evaluation.
• Monitor performance metrics and develop plans to improve productivity, cost and quality.
• Maintain strong relationships with customers, partners and vendors.
• Collaborate with sales and customer service to align business operations.
