Job summary

Sasha's Roots is an emerging better-for-you snack brand seeking an experienced Operations Manager. This remote, part-time role will oversee manufacturing, supply chain, inventory, logistics, and financial planning to scale the business nationwide.

You will collaborate with the founder, co-manufacturer, fulfillment partners, sales agencies, and accounting to keep operations running smoothly and drive cost optimization.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in operations or supply chain within food/beverage CPG.
• Experience with co-manufacturers and 3PLs.
• Strong inventory management, demand planning, COGS understanding.
• Budgeting, financial forecasting, and maintaining financial models.
• Advanced Excel/Sheets, financial and operational reporting.
• Familiarity with Amazon fulfillment, Shopify, and wholesale distribution.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Startup environment experience and ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee manufacturing and supply chain activities with co-manufacturer in Mexico.
• Coordinate production schedules, purchase orders, and timelines.
• Manage packaging suppliers, production planning, and quality coordination.
• Monitor costs, lead times, and operational efficiency.
• Ensure deadlines are met and issues addressed proactively.
• Oversee movement of goods from Mexico to the US and freight/logistics partners.
• Manage Amazon FBA/MCF and Shopify fulfillment operations."
• Evaluate fulfillment options and reduce shipping & storage costs.
• Maintain inventory forecasting, stock levels, and replenishment planning.
• Keep financial model updated with sales forecasts, expenses, and cash flow.
