Job summary

United Rentals is seeking an Operations Manager of Flooring and Facility Solutions (FFS) to lead a new business line, coordinating delivery of high‑level service to facility maintenance and restoration customers. You will report to the District Manager and ensure safety, training, and process compliance while partnering with the district sales team to oversee FFS sales efforts.

• 3+ years of sales and operational experience
• Basic knowledge of the construction rental equipment industry
• Strong motivational and leadership skills
• Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel)
• Valid driver's license

Responsibilities

• Responsible for performance management of direct staff including FFS Outside Sales Representative, Mechanics and other staff as applicable

As Operations Manager of Flooring and Facility Solutions (FFS) at United Rentals, you will leverage your leadership skills to build a new business from the ground up, coordinating and directing the delivery of "white glove" service to facility maintenance and restoration customers. By working closely with the District Manager, you will ensure safety, equipment training, world-class customer service and standard process compliance to ensure effective and efficient operations. Partnering with the district sales team, you will be responsible for overseeing FFS sales efforts. All FFS location staff will report to you.
