Job summary

United Rentals is seeking an Operations Manager to lead the delivery of quality service and maximize branch productivity. You will collaborate with the Branch Manager to ensure safety, world-class customer service, and compliant operations at the location in California.

This role emphasizes people leadership and operational excellence across sales and field staff. You will coach staff, monitor performance, and drive initiatives to meet financial objectives while maintaining strong customer focus

Qualifications

• 3+ years of sales and operational experience.
• Basic knowledge of the construction rental equipment industry or related.
• Strong motivational and leadership skills.
• Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable record.

Responsibilities

• Support Branch Manager in implementing actions to achieve financial objectives.
• Assist Branch Manager in ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Oversee sales efforts and business initiatives.
• Manage performance of direct staff including Inside Sales Reps and Drivers.
• Motivate, coach and train personnel.
• Promote safety culture and disciplined operations.
• Other duties as needed.

Requirements:
