Job summary

Convergint is seeking a full-time Operations Manager to join our dynamic team and help drive growth while delivering world-class service. You will lead branch operations, coordinate proposals and bookings, and mentor the operations staff to enhance skills and performance.

You will ensure customer satisfaction on all accounts and oversee contract execution, cost management and invoicing. We value integrity, accountability, and a collaborative, inclusive culture across our growing company.

Qualifications

• Education: College degree, trade school or equivalent experience.
• Minimum Experience: 3-5 years operations, service or field or project management.
• Preferred Experience: in electronics, fire alarm & life safety, building automation, and/or healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Manage, oversee and coordinate all branch operation activities including operations planning, qualifying potential business, and review of proposals and bookings.
• Coach, council and train the Operations force to improve individual skills.
• Oversee customer satisfaction on all installed accounts.
• Ensure execution of contracts – cost tracking, labor and subcontractors, scheduling, invoicing and collections.
• Perform other duties as requested.

• Manage, oversee and coordinate all aspects of branch operation activities including, but not limited to, the following: operations planning, qualifying potential business, operational review of proposals and bookings.
• Coach, council and train the Operations force to improve individual skills.
• Overall responsibility for customer satisfaction on all installed accounts.
• Overall responsibility for execution of contracts – estimated cost vs. actual cost; review of contracts; supervision of labor and subcontractors; planning and scheduling contracts, preparation of invoices, and collections.
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.

What You’ll Need

• Strong management skills related to Project Management.
• Leadership Orientation – Actively seeks ways in which to act as a role model, guide, develop and mentor others within the Operations Department; Strong team leadership, team building and facilitation skills.
• Strong financial analytical skills including cost control.
• Excellent Microsoft Outlook, Project, Excel, Word and Power Point skills.
