Convergint is seeking a full-time Operations Manager to join a dynamic team and help drive growth while delivering world-class service.

You will oversee branch operations, coach staff, and ensure successful contract execution and customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• College degree, trade school or equivalent experience.
• Strong project management skills and leadership abilities.
• Financial analytical skills including cost control.
• Proficiency with MS Outlook, Project, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate branch operation activities including operations planning, evaluating proposals and bookings.
• Coach, train and develop Operations staff to improve skills.
• Ensure customer satisfaction on all installed accounts.
• Oversee contracts execution, cost reviews, supervision of labor and subcontractors, scheduling and invoicing.

What you’ll do with “Our Training and Your Experience”

• Manage, oversee and coordinate all aspects of branch operation activities including, but not limited to, the following: operations planning, qualifying potential business, operational review of proposals and bookings.
• Coach, council and train the Operations force to improve individual skills.
• Overall responsibility for customer satisfaction on all installed accounts.
• Overall responsibility for execution of contracts – estimated cost vs. actual cost; review of contracts; supervision of labor and subcontractors; planning and scheduling contracts, preparation of invoices, and collections.
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.

What You’ll Need

• Strong management skills related to Project Management.
• Leadership Orientation – Actively seeks ways in which to act as a role model, guide, develop and mentor others within the Operations Department; Strong team leadership, team building and facilitation skills.
• Strong financial analytical skills including cost control.
• Excellent Microsoft Outlook, Project, Excel, Word and Power Point skills.

Requirements:

Education: College degree, trade school or equivalent experience

Minimum Experience: 3-5 years operations within the electronic, fire alarm & life safety, or building automation.

Preferred Experience: (but not required):

• Experience in 1 or more of the following industries: electronic, fire alarm & life safety, or building automation
