Job summary

The Manager Operations at Alford Media oversees warehouse operations, inventory management, and warehouse personnel to ensure equipment readiness, inventory accuracy, and efficient event support.

This role leads daily workflow, maintains a safe and organized warehouse environment, and partners with cross-functional teams to support successful event execution while driving operational excellence and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of warehouse experience in the tradeshow/event industry or related operations.
• 3–5 years of supervisory experience.
• Forklift certification and ability to manage inventory controls.
• Strong written and verbal communication, with attention to detail.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coach, train, develop, and evaluate warehouse personnel.
• Manage daily warehouse operations, labor resources, and project workflow.
• Coordinate activities for show preparation, inventory pulling, staging, receiving, and storage.
• Oversee receiving operations and asset tracking and reporting.
• Maintain organization, safety, and data accuracy; promote OSHA standards.
• Prepare operational reports and collaborate with Finance and Account Teams.
• Plan warehouse labor and overtime based on show calendars, including nights/weekends.
