About the Role

As an Operations Manager, you'll be scrubbing in to get your hands deep into the guts of our benefits brokerage - making sure various ben admin, payroll, CRM, carrier portals and other systems are in sync and humming smoothly. And when something glitches, you'll be locked in -- finding the root cause to continually correct, update and improve our systems. This is not a supply chain or logistics role; you'll work in tandem with our account management team to leverage technology to ensure exceptional service delivery to our small business clients.

What You'll Do

  • Lead with empathy, transparency, and proactive support
  • Identify inefficiencies and propose creative solutions that simplify and scale
  • Take ownership of challenges, push through roadblocks, and deliver results
  • Apply industry expertise to deliver accurate, high-quality outcomes
  • Anticipate client needs and build scalable, lasting solutions
  • Communicate clearly, cut the fluff, and focus on what matters

What We’re Looking For

  • A+ players who think strategically while flexing their tactical muscles
  • 5+ years of experience with employee benefits, via insurance brokerage, insurtech, PEO or third party administration
  • Someone who loves to solve problems and do the dirty work behind the scenes
  • Exceptional communication skills with a client-first mindset
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver on time

This is a remote position but preferred candidates will be based in San Francisco or the surrounding area and bring recent experience supporting California-based small (under 100 EE's) employer groups.
