Job summary

DART ENTITIES in Dallas/Grand Prairie, TX seeks an Operations Manager to oversee warehouse labor, shipping/receiving, inventory, QA and safety. You will lead staffing, training, and performance, partner with customers, and drive KPI-driven profitability of the distribution center.

Reporting to the leadership team, you will maintain equipment and facilities, coordinate with logistics, ensure safe operations, and implement layout optimizations while fostering a strong, results-oriented culture.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of management/warehouse operations experience.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, coaching and facilitation skills.
• Demonstrated ability to train, supervise and motivate team members.
• Able to set high expectations and hold others accountable for results.
• Proficient in PC and Microsoft Office Software.

Responsibilities

• Ensures the physical condition of warehouse and equipment are properly maintained.
• Consults with others to ensure coordination of warehouse activities with activities of other functional areas such as logistics and transportation.
• Partners with the customer to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by communicating frequently with customers and following up on customer concerns and requests.
• Ensures safe operation of the warehouse including meeting company standards for sanitation, maintenance, safety, and security.
• Ensures operational excellence in all warehouse areas, related equipment, and warehouse management systems.
• Leads an efficient and successful operation while successfully overcoming any barriers to success.
• Implement and maintain proper layout of warehouse and product placement.
• Monitors and ensures facility key performance indicators (KPI) are met in a timely and cost effective manner to ensure the profitability and productivity of the distribution center.
• Ensures adequate staffing, training, coaching and development for employees.
• Reports employees' hours worked to Payroll on a weekly basis.
• Provides hands on management of the distribution center including interviewing, hiring, and training Supervisory and hourly staff; planning, assigning, and directing work; and appraising performance to create a strong company culture.
• Addresses complaints and resolves problems.
• Other duties as required and assigned
