Qualifications

• 3–4 years of distribution management experience
• Mentor and develop supervisors
• Safety management experience
• Inventory control knowledge
• Analytical reporting skills
• Knowledge of WMS systems
• Knowledge of Labor Management System
• Knowledge of 5S
• Ability to manage changing and sometimes spiking volumes

Responsibilities

• Managing the timely and accurate processing of orders, including receiving, warehousing, and distribution.
• Complies with federal, state and local warehousing and shipping requirements by enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
• Safeguards warehouse operation and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
• Oversee the organization and maintenance of outbound inventory, ensuring accuracy and availability.
• Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.
• Completes warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.
• Manages warehouse staff by coaching, counseling and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring and appraising job results.
• Ability to interact and build strong relationships with internal and external customers.
• Excellent organizing, prioritizing, multi-tasking, product management and problem-solving skills with a strong sense of urgency.
• Analytical reporting skills
• Ability to effectively manage changing and sometimes spiking volumes.
• Ability to meet strict time frames in environments with zero tolerance for failure.
