Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of experience in the roofing industry.

• Proven ability to run a production schedule and keep multiple jobs moving simultaneously.
• Comfortable managing vendors, warehouse logistics, and multi-location coordination.
• Strong ownership mentality — can identify and solve operational problems autonomously.
• Ambitious with genuine interest in growing into a General Manager role as the company scales.
• Experience with windows and doors is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and schedule field crews across all locations in tandem with the office manager.
• Ensure job quality, timelines, and customer satisfaction on every project and manage foremen.
• Serve as the point person for field issues, escalations, and day-of problem-solving.
• Own the production schedule from sold job to completion and coordinate between sales, crews, and suppliers.
• Track production capacity and flag when staffing or scheduling needs to change.
• Oversee warehouse operations, inventory, and materials logistics; manage vendor relationships.
• Build out a supervisor/foreman structure underneath this role as the company scales.
• Report regularly to ownership on production throughput, job timelines, and field performance.
• Flag operational risks before they become problems.

About the Role

We're a growing residential roofing and windows and doors contractor with locations in Vero Beach, Port St. Lucie and Melbourne, FL Ownership handles sales, marketing, and finance — we're looking for an Operations Manager to take full ownership of field operations, production, and warehouse so every sold job gets executed on time, on budget, and to standard.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who wants to run the operational side of a growing company, not just supervise a crew. We're looking for someone who sees this as a launching point — as the company grows, this role has a clear path to a General Manager position for the right person.

What You'll Own

Field Operations

• Manage and schedule field crews across all locations in tandem with the office manager
• Ensure job quality, timelines, and customer satisfaction on every project and managing foremen
• Serve as the point person for field issues, escalations, and day-of problem-solving

Production

• Own the production schedule from sold job to completion
• Coordinate between sales, crews, and suppliers so jobs move without bottlenecks
• Track production capacity and flag when staffing or scheduling needs to change

Warehouse & Materials

• Oversee warehouse operations, inventory, and materials logistics
• Manage vendor and supplier relationships for materials and equipment
• Ensure crews have what they need, when they need it, at both locations

Quality & Standards

• Set and enforce field quality standards and safety practices
• Manage permitting and coordinate with insurance on claims-related jobs
• Build out a supervisor/foreman structure underneath this role as the company scales

Reporting

• Report regularly to ownership on production throughput, job timelines, and field performance
• Flag operational risks (staffing gaps, material delays, quality issues) before they become problems

What We're Looking For

Compensation Structure

• Base salary: $70,00+ , based on experience
• Performance bonus tied to production efficiency, job completion timelines, and quality metrics
• Long-term growth path as the company scales , with the opportunity to advance into a General Manager role
