My Florida Roofing Contractor seeks an Operations Manager to own field operations, production, and warehouse across Vero Beach, Melbourne and Port St Lucie, FL. This hands‑on leadership role drives on‑time, on‑budget execution for every sold job and offers a clear path to General Manager as the company grows.

Ownership of field operations, schedules, vendor relations, and quality standards will be essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of experience in the roofing industry.
• Minimum 3 years in a management role with a proven track record of promotions and measurable results.
• Proven ability to run a production schedule and keep multiple jobs moving simultaneously.
• Comfortable managing vendors, warehouse logistics, and multi-location coordination.
• Strong ownership mentality — can identify and solve operational problems autonomously.
• Ambitious with genuine interest in growing into a General Manager role as the company scales.
• Experience with windows and doors is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and schedule field crews across all locations in tandem with the office manager.
• Ensure job quality, timelines, and customer satisfaction on every project and manage foremen.
• Serve as the point person for field issues, escalations, and day-of problem-solving.
• Own the production schedule from sold job to completion and coordinate between sales, crews, and suppliers.
• Track production capacity and flag when staffing or scheduling needs to change.
• Oversee warehouse operations, inventory, and materials logistics; manage vendor relationships.
• Build out a supervisor/foreman structure underneath this role as the company scales.
• Report regularly to ownership on production throughput, job timelines, and field performance.
• Flag operational risks before they become problems.
