Job description

An ideal candidate for our Operations Manager role has the following attributes:

  • Solid project coordination/management skills;
  • Resilient and adaptable to changing requirements;
  • Uses Data Analytics for decision making

Responsibilities & day-to-day activities

  • Run internal team calls and keeping the team on track to meet project objectives;
  • Drive projects to completion identifying potential risks to scope, timeline or quality and engaging and motivation the team to success.
  • Provide oversight over project plans and schedules, tracking of deliverables, managing an issue log and escalation process; and
  • Escalate issues to the appropriate stakeholder as required to overcome blockers.
  • Oversees operational systems, processes, and infrastructure while looking for opportunities of improvement or revision.
  • Identifies trends by using data analytics and assess opportunities to improve processes and execution.
  • Manages day to day business of the operations department while balancing the responsibilities of various business lines such as business analysis, vendors, and risk management.
  • Ensure alignment between delivery, sales and operations functions.
  • Plays a significant role in long-term planning, project status reporting, and implementing change control processes.
  • Oversees and reports weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual metrics.
  • Collaborates with transitions and onboarding teams as needed.
  • Hiring and managing the Operations team
  • Establishes and maintains credible, professional relationships with sales, internal business lines, and external vendors.
  • Flexible attitude and willingness to experiment with new processes and methodologies.

Required Skills and Experience

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent work experience;

2 years of experience in Project Coordination / Management;

Experience using Data Analytics to make business decisions

Excellent written and verbal communication skills;

Effective and Creative problem solving, risk management and escalation skills.

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Strong understanding of Software Development and QA testing processes

Salary range for this position is included in accordance with current state/local pay transparency legislation. Please note that salaries may vary for different individuals in the same role based on several factors, including but not limited to location of the role, individual competencies, education/professional certifications, experience, and performance in the role.

Base Salary Range: $70,000 - $100,000
