Job summary

West Coast Magnetics in Stockton, CA, seeks an experienced Operations Manager to run end-to-end order fulfillment, ensuring accurate, on-time shipments and smooth cross-functional collaboration.

You will own the Sage ERP to manage demand, materials, and inventory, review POs, monitor MRP, and drive ISO 9001/13485 disciplined processes while leading a team of supervisors.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in operations/materials/production control/supply chain in manufacturing.
• 3+ years leading managers and supervisors
• ERP systems expertise; Sage preferred
• Strong Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook skills
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end execution for order fulfillment at Stockton site and ensure on-time shipments
• Own Sage transactions and controls: order entry, MRP, work orders, and inventory movements
• Drive performance on on-time delivery, paperwork accuracy, and inventory accuracy
• Maintain disciplined processes aligned to ISO 9001 and ISO 13485
• Review new customer POs and confirm clean Sage entry; release sales and work orders
• Close out open items to start next day with controlled backlog and commitments

As Operations Manager, you run end-to-end execution for order fulfillment at our Stockton site and ensure customers get accurate, on-time shipments. You lead cross-functional teams and own the Sage environment used to manage demand, materials, and inventory.

• Lead Customer Service, Purchasing, Production, Stockroom, and Document Control through the full order cycle
• Own Sage transactions and controls: order entry, MRP, work orders, and inventory movements
• Drive performance on on-time delivery, paperwork accuracy, and inventory accuracy
• Maintain disciplined processes aligned to ISO 9001 and ISO 13485

How Your Day Runs

You start by reviewing new customer POs and priorities, then confirm clean order entry in Sage before releasing sales orders and work orders. Midday is spent validating MRP signals, clearing material constraints with Purchasing, and making sure kitting packets are ready for the stockroom. You check floor status with Production, verify document readiness with Document Control, and resolve any exceptions that could impact ship dates. Late afternoon, you review shipments and invoicing flow, reconcile key inventory transactions, and close out open items so the next day starts with a controlled backlog and clear commitments.
