Job summary

Radial Inc. in Stevens, NJ is seeking an Operations Manager to lead an operations team across inbound, pick/pack, outbound shipments, and inventory management.

You will drive continuous improvement, manage shifts (including weekend/donut shifts), mentor staff, and ensure client SLA adherence while controlling budget. The role emphasizes lean process improvement, data analysis, and collaboration with on-site staffing and senior leadership; candidates should have 2+ years of managerial ops

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred; HS degree or GED acceptable.
• Experience with process improvement ideologies (LEAN, Six Sigma) / Six Sigma certification preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of progressive Operations experience in a manager role.
• Execution focused with ability to be flexible and coachable.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for client SLA agreements and site-specific quality and fulfillment targets.
• Create and manage day-to-day operational strategy for the campus.
• Lead performance management program for area and develop direct reports.
• Manage shift directives to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and quality (including some 2nd shift & weekend shifts).
• Oversee quality assurance, establish metrics, and implement CI initiatives.
• Deliver productivity improvements in line with KPIs and lean process improvements.
• Budget management for the value stream and staffing coordination.
• Interact with clients on operational topics and coordinate resources.

RoleSummary:

TheOperations Managerprovides leadership and supervision toanoperations teamworking forthe same value stream to create a world-class operations team. This includes, but is not limited to,managinginbound,and,pick/ packoperations,and outbound shipments, andmaintaininginventory. The Operations Manager also ensures that departmental and support personnel are focused on continuous improvement andsupportsalean culture ofinventory,people,and processes.

Responsibilities:

Accountable to client SLA agreements and site-specific quality and fulfillment targets.

Create and manage day to day operational strategy ensuring the campus operates in a safe, and productive manner.

Actively contribute to the development of direct reports.

Full work week responsibility of client or clients(including 2nd shift & weekend/donut shifts if applicable).

Lead Individual Performance Management program for area.

Responsible for planning, prioritizing, and communicating shift directives to insure efficiency, accuracy, and quality.

Interact with clients on operational topics.

Oversee all aspects of quality assurance including establishing metrics, applying industry best practices, and developing new tools and processes to ensure quality goals are met.

Deliver performance evaluations to direct reports and provide feedback as necessary including salaried member of management.

Promote and develop a culture of continuous improvement within the value stream.

Deliver productivity and improvements in line with KPIs.

Ownership of lean process improvement and CI initiatives.

Organizes and manages all necessary resources required to improve safety, improve quality, increase customer service, and lower cost.

Ensure all training and skills development programs, along with all Standard Operating Procures (SOPs) within the value stream are up to date and maintained.

Promote a culture of high accountability, engagement, and associate empowerment.

Manager relationship with on-site seasonal staffing representatives and advise director of operations on seasonal labor needs.

Budget management for value stream.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degreestronglypreferred /HS Degree or GEDrequired.

Experience working with process improvement ideologies, e.g., LEAN, Six Sigma, or similar / Six Sigma certification preferred.

Minimum of 2 years of progressive Operations experience in a manager role.

Experience in creating productivity improvement through continuous improvement efforts.

Execution focused.

Hours

Monday to Friday 7:00am to 3:30pm. Must be available to work additional hours as needed.
