Job summary

Radial Inc. in Avon, IN is seeking a Warehouse Operations Systems Planner to ensure the fulfillment center has the systems, processes, and training to meet operational goals. You will coordinate between WMS/OMS and operations, manage data integrity, test new functionality, and monitor KPIs to drive continual improvement.

The role involves configuring WMS like Logiwa and Manhattan Active, coordinating with clients, and documenting changes; travel not required.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing environments.
• Experience with conveyor sortation and automation.
• SQL experience required.
• Verbal skills/knowledge to describe conveyor areas to vendor/maintenance teams.

Responsibilities

• Set up and launch new client WMS configurations.
• Troubleshoot WMS/OMS issues with Logiwa, Manhattan Active WMS, and Pipe 17.
• Interact directly with clients regarding WMS/WCS needs and provide updates.
• Ensure configurations relate to and impact client billing.
• Monitor conveyance and automation systems to ensure proper workflow.
• Assist in testing system modifications and walk through processes before install.
• Document all system changes, exception reporting, root-cause analysis and problem solving.
• Create SOPs for changes to physical/systemic setups driven by the business.

RoleSummary:

TheWarehouseOperationsSystemsPlannerensuresthe fulfillmentcenter has the system support, processes,and training required to achieveoperationalobjectives;coordinates between systems, fulfillment center, and operations teamsto develop and maintain detailed functional requirements and operational process flows;prioritize andmanagethe delivery, functional testing, and implementation of new functionality and enhancements;manage and validate data integrity; andanalyze and evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify opportunities for continual improvement withinthe operation and system functionality.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible forWMSsystem set up, configurations and launching of new clients.
• Work with WMS (Logiwa, Manhattan Active) and OMS (Pipe 17)for trouble shooting and resolvingwarehouse management system (WMS)andwarehouse control system (WCS)issues
• Responsible for systemsetup, configurations and launching of new clients.
• Interactdirectlywith clientsregardingWMS/WCSneeds, andprovidingupdates during client and operational meetings.
• Must understandsystem configurations as it relates to andimpactsclientbilling
• Monitorsall conveyance and automation systems to ensure proper workflow
• Assistintesting forsystem modifications and walk through the process operationally prior toinstall.
• Documentsall system changes,exceptionreporting forall warehousefunctions,root cause analysis and problem solving
• Creates detailedSOPsfor any changes to physical/systemic setup driven bythebusiness.
• Leadsand executesproject work as well as client requests (promos, qualityandinventory checks, slotting updates, research)
• Creates/updates slotting matrix used byWavePlanners to aid in making proper replenishmenttransactions
• Monitors aged inventory transactions and investigates as needed
• Work Change Carrier (orders that need to be re-rate shopped interfaced to the WMS)
• Research andassistwithskuissuesto include auditing item profiles and on hand inventory
• Assist IT and Maintenance with operational sorter issues involving trays, chutes, scanners, andsystem.
• Assistswithsystemsuser set up,password resets, training
• All other duties assigned by supervisor ormanager.

Qualifications:

• Experience working withLogiwaand Manhattan ActiveWMSANDPipe 17 OMSreporting and troubleshooting preferred.
• Experience, 2-4 years of experience in warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing environment,working withconveyorsortationand other automation
• Verbal skills/knowledge to describe specific conveyor areas to vendor/maintenance team should replacement parts be needed/installed
• SQL experiencerequired
• Mustbe able to lift 50 lbs.
• High School diploma or GED
