Job summary

LAZ Parking is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee daily parking operations at assigned locations in the St. Louis area. You will lead location teams and ensure service quality while supporting programs from the home office and maintaining budget adherence.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, supervisory background, and proficiency with MS Office. Willingness to travel between sites and operate in a fast-paced environment is essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare weekly, monthly and annual financial and operational reports.
• Resolve tech/equipment issues and implement projects from location operations.

The Spirit of the Position:

Salary Range: $50,000 - $55,000 annually

The Operations Manager oversees the operations for assigned location(s), under the direction of the Assistant General Manager to ensure 24/7 professional parking management. As a company devoted to promoting an employee-focused servant leadership culture, the Operations Manager will support the programs and initiatives originating from our home office and help to support the individual needs of their operational teams throughout their assigned location.

Principal Job Duties:

• Assist with the management and development of the location(s) team to accomplish annual and periodic goals/initiatives, while embodying and using LAZ Parking's culture as a guideline.
• Identifying high potential employees to support the organization's continued growth.
• Responsible for assisting with the opening of newly assigned locations.
• Assist with the financial management of assigned location(s) ensuring adherence to budget and revenue enhancements as it relates to staffing, scheduling and operational expenses.
• Responsible for developing client relationships and business retention.
• Assist the region with the operations preparation for potential new locations as it relates to facility services, etc.
• Daily, Weekly, Monthly, and Annual financial and operational reports as required.
• Complete weekly location assessments to ensure the facility meets the clients quality standards.
• Work to resolve any tech/equipment issues that may arise in the facility.
• Implement and complete other projects, programs, and initiatives that may arise from the operation of assigned location.
• Assist with the monitoring, review, and analysis of the market rate structures.

• Additional duties as assigned.

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience desired.

Experience:

• Prior experience in the industry (Parking, Customer Service, Hospitality, etc.) is preferred.
• Previous supervisory or management experience is preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Previous experience working in a fast-paced environment with high customer expectations.
• Knowledge of Excel, Word, Power Point and General Microsoft Office Applications.
• Must have reliable personal transportation to travel between multiple locations throughout the St. Louis area.
• Ability to travel regularly between assigned client sites as business needs require.
• Previous experience working in high-stress situations with tight deadlines/high customer expectations.

Skills:

• Supervisory experience is highly preferred but not required.

Physical Demands:

• Willingness to work in the elements - heat, wind, snow, rain, etc.
• Ability to lift, push and pull at least 25 pounds.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• Ability to bend, stoop, squat and lift frequently throughout a shift.
