Local HVAC, Plumbing and Energy Delivery company is hiring an Operations Manager.
Job Summary:
The Operations Manager has the primary overall responsibility for the Southshore locations. Manages all facets of these locations with accountability for the location's growth, EBIDTA, and Safety with a focus on profit and loss. Accountable for the overall direction of the locations' activities to ensure high levels of customer service, operational effectiveness, employee productivity and profitability.

Measurements of Success:
- Customer service, meeting and exceeding the requirements of the customer consistent with the our program which covers HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fuel delivery
- Salesmanship, or the capacity to capitalize on sales growth opportunities as well as supporting the Division's sales and marketing efforts
- Experience, the insight to understand the nature of the energy business and plan accordingly
- Mentoring and Coaching, establishing consistent behavior that encourages the development of direct reports within these Locations and assuring consistent behavior within the management team
- Leadership responsibility for all service, delivery, office and sales department operations
- Works with and assists in the recruiting, hiring and performance of employees
- Evaluates, coaches, and communicates regularly with department managers
- Responsible for all aspects of safety including appropriate personal protective equipment, proper lifting of heavy parts and equipment, hazardous materials handling, and general safety awareness
- Responsibility for the implementation of daily operating procedures to ensure employees understand the correct procedures to perform their daily responsibilities at or above expectation
- Schedule and facilitate regular department and safety meetings
- Understands, follows, and advocates company policies and local, state and federal rules, regulations, codes and licensing
- Analyzes service, delivery, and sales department productivity reports to improve efficiency and maximize productivity
- Controls inventory to maintain appropriate levels and develops and institutes processes for maintaining accurate inventory records
- Establishes competitive and financially responsible margins
- Develops an annual budget and departmental goals with members of the Executive Team
- Creates and supplies information for determining performance of Key Performance Indicators ("KPI's")
What it takes:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience required, industry experience preferred
- Proficient user of Microsoft Office (prior experience with customized internal computer programs preferred)
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team
- Strong sense of professionalism and ability to maintain discretion
- Well-developed verbal and written communication skills
- Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record
