About The Role
The Operations Manager owns the operational backbone of a fast-scaling technology organization: the workflows, systems, and cross-functional coordination that keep engineering, product, and go-to-market teams executing at pace. This is a hands-on execution role. The person in it will map broken processes, build the tooling and reporting that surface problems early, and drive initiatives end-to-end — from kickoff through measurable business outcomes — without waiting for permission to fix what's not working.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and continuously improve core operational processes, documenting SOPs and ensuring teams actually follow them
- Drive cross-functional projects from scoping through delivery, managing timelines, dependencies, and stakeholder communication in tools like Asana or Jira
- Build and maintain operational dashboards (Looker, Tableau, or Google Sheets-based) tracking KPIs across headcount, spend, and process throughput
- Identify bottlenecks in workflows — onboarding, procurement, support escalation, tooling access — and ship fixes with quantified impact
- Manage vendor relationships and SaaS tooling portfolio, negotiating contracts and consolidating redundant spend
- Partner with finance and leadership on operational budgeting, forecasting, and quarterly planning cadences
- Design and run operational reviews, surfacing risks and tradeoffs to leadership with clear recommendations
What We Are Looking For
- 4-7 years of experience in operations management, program management, or strategy/consulting roles at a high-growth technology company
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional projects across engineering, finance, and go-to-market teams without direct authority
- Advanced analytical skills: fluent in SQL or advanced spreadsheets, and comfortable building dashboards in BI tools
- Deep proficiency with project management and workflow tools (Jira, Asana, Notion, Airtable)
- Track record of shipping process improvements with documented, measurable impact (time saved, cost reduced, cycle time improved)
- Excellent written communication — able to write crisp docs and proposals that drive decisions
- Bonus: experience with SOX-lite controls, vendor procurement systems (Zip, Coupa), or enabling OKR/quarterly planning processes; bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related field preferred
