Our Salt Lake City, UT Terminal is hiring immediately for a Logistics Operations Manager.

Responsibilities:

1. Competitive Pay
2. Plan, direct, coordinate, and control freight operations to meet company objectives for profit. Focus on line haul loading and management within assigned operational scope.
3. Manage all operational functions, including pickup and delivery, dock operations, night operations, inbound and outbound road operations, office, and equipment maintenance.
4. Generate and analyze information and statistics related to operational issues and costs within your scope.
5. Select, recommend, and train personnel to understand Midwest's operational systems relevant to their roles.
6. Handle manpower planning, employment, labor cost control, and provide ongoing training.
7. Develop policies, programs, and procedures for transportation including schedules, routes, driver assignments, and vehicle management.
8. Perform other duties as assigned.

General Requirements:

• 4-year college degree or equivalent experience
• 2+ years transportation supervisory or higher experience
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Proficiency with computer systems such as AS400, email, Excel, data entry, etc.
