TNT Strong is Southern Maryland's premier fitness facility, offering 24/7 gym access, personal training, semi-private coaching, large group training, nutrition coaching, recovery services, childcare, and a high-energy community focused on helping people transform their lives.
We are hiring an Operations Manager to lead the daily operation of the facility. This role reports directly to the CEO.
This is not an administrative position. It is a leadership role responsible for making sure the business runs efficiently every day, that standards are met, and that both members and staff have an excellent experience.
WHAT YOU'LL OWN
- Leadership and team development: lead daily operational execution across the facility, support and develop department leaders, assist with hiring, onboarding and staff training, hold the team to clear performance standards, run regular operational meetings, and build a positive, high-performing culture.
- Operations and systems: oversee daily facility operations, create and maintain standard operating procedures, build workflows that hold up when you are not in the building, make sure checklists and standards are actually followed, manage operational projects end to end, coordinate maintenance and vendors, oversee inventory and purchasing, and keep the facility clean, organized and presentable.
- Member experience: raise the quality of every member touchpoint, resolve member concerns professionally and quickly, drive consistency across departments, and support retention.
- Technology and reporting: help manage Club Automation, Go High Level, Slack, Google Workspace and QuickBooks, monitor operational KPIs, support reporting and analytics, and improve automation and efficiency.
- Project management: execute new business initiatives, coordinate events and facility projects, support new program launches, and help prepare the business for its expansion into a new facility.
SCHEDULE
Full-time, minimum 40 hours per week. Some evenings and Saturdays required. This role carries leadership and administrative responsibility throughout the week and requires someone dependable, highly organized and responsive.
COMPENSATION
Base salary of $50,000 to $65,000 annually, based on experience, qualifications and leadership ability. Additional earning opportunities through monthly operational performance bonuses and quarterly leadership bonuses.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Proven leadership ability. Exceptional organization and communication. Someone who thinks proactively rather than reactively, solves problems independently, takes ownership without being asked, and enjoys improving systems and processes. Strong time management and a genuine interest in long-term career growth.
- Management, operations, hospitality, project management or fitness industry experience is preferred but not required. Leadership, professionalism, organization and work ethic matter most.
WHY TNT STRONG
We are building more than a gym. As Operations Manager you will play a central role in preparing TNT Strong for its next stage of growth, including the opening of our new facility and the continued expansion of our services. This position offers real opportunity for advancement as the company grows.
BENEFITS AND OTHER COMPENSATION
