Job description

PAYNTR Golf, based in Portland, Oregon, was founded by two experienced golf footwear specialists and is experiencing rapid growth driven by strong demand. "Performance Multiplied" isn't just a tagline -it's how we operate. Our products are rooted in the biomechanics of the golf swing and designed to meet the real needs of golfers on the course. By combining technical performance with modern design, PAYNTR Golf is emerging as a compelling alternative for passionate golfers.

The Role

We're seeking an Operations Manager to lead and continually improve day-to-day business operations across the U.S. market. This person will own inventory visibility, coordinate inbound logistics and fulfillment, strengthen our third-party logistics (3PL) partnership, and develop the reporting and systems needed to support continued growth.

Working closely with sales, marketing, and external partners, you'll turn operational data into actionable decisions, resolve issues before they affect customers, and build scalable processes without sacrificing accuracy or service. This is a hands-on, high-impact position with visibility across the organization.

What You'll Do

Own inventory accuracy and availability across channels; monitor stock levels, reconcile discrepancies, and support replenishment planning.

Manage the U.S. 3PL relationship, including receiving, storage, order fulfillment, returns, service performance, and process improvements.

Coordinate the supply chain from arrival at U.S. ports through transportation, warehouse receipt, and delivery to wholesale and direct-to-consumer customers.

Build and maintain reliable reporting on inventory, sell-through, order bookings, fulfillment performance, and operational trends.

Lead operational systems integrations and improvements, collaborating with internal stakeholders and external technology partners to improve data accuracy and reduce manual work.

Partner with sales and marketing to align product launches, account requirements, order priorities, and inventory availability.

Identify bottlenecks, document standard operating procedures, and implement scalable workflows, controls, and performance measures.

Investigate and resolve shipment, inventory, and order exceptions with urgency, clear communication, and accountability.

Who You Are

You are an organized, analytical, and solutions-oriented operator who enjoys building structure in a fast-moving business. You balance attention to detail with a practical, customer-first mindset and can move comfortably between strategy and execution.

Communicate clearly and build productive relationships with internal teams, vendors, and logistics partners.

Prioritize competing deadlines, take ownership of outcomes, and remain adaptable as the business evolves.

Use data to diagnose problems, improve processes, and make sound operational decisions.

Collaborate with empathy, positivity, and a commitment to excellent customer and partner experiences.

Preferred Background

5-10 years of experience in operations, supply chain, logistics, inventory management, or a related field.

Experience in consumer products, footwear, apparel, sporting goods, or another inventory-intensive business.

Hands-on experience managing 3PL relationships, inbound freight, and wholesale and/or e-commerce fulfillment.

Strong spreadsheet and reporting skills, with confidence analyzing inventory, sales, and order data.

Experience with ERP, inventory management, e-commerce, EDI, or related systems and cross-platform integrations.

Demonstrated ability to improve processes and coordinate effectively across functions.
