Job summary

The Watches of Switzerland Group operates a Plano showroom and seeks an Operations Manager to oversee the operations function, enforce Standard Operating Procedures, and ensure the smooth running of the back-of-house to deliver an exceptional client experience. You will partner with sales and management, directly reporting to the Showroom Director.

This role requires schedule flexibility to align with showroom hours, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Operations in a service-related industry.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Word and Excel; ability to organize and manage details.
• Flexible to perform different tasks based on daily needs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and direct the operations function within the showroom.
• Be the expert on all SOPs, systems, and tools to ensure smooth operations.
• Support sales efforts and collaborate with management for process improvements.
• Perform opening and closing procedures and ensure high standards.

Job Purpose

At Watches of Switzerland, the Operations Manager oversees and directs the operations function within the Showroom. They the expert on all Standard Operating Procedures, systems, and tools, ensuring the smooth running of operations to enable the ultimate client experience. The Operations Manager will report to the Showroom Director. The Operations Manager is the heart of the back of house operations. They love not only working with internal and external clients by supporting all sales endeavors but also have a deep appreciation for doing things better. The Operations Manager has strong communication skills and works effectively with sales professionals and other members of management to help drive the business. Sales support, process efficiencies and procedure compliance are the name of the game in operations.

Schedule flexibility and availability is required to accommodate showroom hours, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications and Experience

• Previous experience in Operations in a service-related industry
• High school/college degree
• Strong Analytical skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Organized and detail oriented
• Ability to understand and adhere to company standards.
• Flexibility to perform different tasks based on day-to-day business needs.
