Job summary

RL People in the Bay Area is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Manager to own day-to-day operations across inbound, sorting, processing, storage and outbound, and to lead a small team on the warehouse floor.

You will ensure ITAD material is properly sorted, processed and tracked, maintain data security and chain-of-custody, and drive continuous improvements. The role offers ownership now with potential to expand into broader operations as the business grows.

Job description

We’re working with a growing ITAD business in the Bay Area that is looking for a hands-on Warehouse Manager to take ownership of its day-to-day warehouse operation.

You’ll oversee the flow of material through the facility, from inbound loads and sorting through processing and outbound, while managing a small team and continuously improving the operation.

• Manage day-to-day warehouse operations across inbound, sorting, processing, storage and outbound.
• Lead a small team across warehouse, disassembly and shipping activities.
• Ensure ITAD material is correctly sorted, processed and moved through the facility.
• Maintain asset tracking, data security and chain-of-custody requirements.

What We're Looking For

• Experience within ITAD, e-waste, electronics recycling, reverse logistics or a related environment.
• Understanding of ITAD warehouse processes, including sorting, processing and material handling.
• Previous warehouse supervision or management experience.
• Hands-on approach with a willingness to work on the warehouse floor.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Comfortable dealing with varied inbound material and changing priorities.
• Understanding of compliance, data security and chain-of-custody requirements.
• Forklift experience would be beneficial but is not essential.
• Local to the Bay Area and able to work on-site.

The Opportunity

The operation currently has around 15 employees and is growing. This role offers genuine ownership of the warehouse function, with the opportunity to develop into broader operational responsibility as the business expands.

A strong ITAD warehouse supervisor ready to take the next step into management would also be considered.
