Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
  • 5+ years in Environmental field preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent written and oral communication.
  • Valid Driver's License and ability to travel.
  • Experience leading teams and remote locations preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day operations and administrative management.
  • Assign and coordinate operational resources for each job.
  • Ensure health & safety, regulatory compliance, and financial performance.
  • Maintain visibility at customer sites and resolve issues.
  • Oversee training programs for service lines.
  • Manage resources including consultants, temporaries, and sub-contractors.
  • Lead operations meetings with key personnel.
  • Oversee repair and maintenance of equipment.
  • Monitor financial and operational metrics and budgets.
  • Collaborate with Sales to ensure feasible operational approaches.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Description: Operations Manager

Status: Full-time/Exempt

Reports to: Branch Manager

JOB SUMMARY:

The primary responsibility of this role is the operational leadership and support of the facility. The position requires a full understanding of the Environmental service lines the division offers and the ability to work successfully in a fast-paced work environment.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Responsible for the overall day to day operations and associated administrative management.
  2. Assign and coordinate operational resources required to execute each job/project.
  3. Responsible for the Health & Safety, Regulatory Compliance, and financial performance.
  4. Maintain appropriate visibility at customer sites, focusing on execution of work and issue resolution.
  5. Executes training program for assigned service lines.
  6. Ensures that all necessary operational personnel and equipment resources are available when needed. Includes the coordination of procuring resources external to the division (consultants, temporary labor, sub-contractors, and other AR divisions).
  7. Conducts operations meetings with key personnel.
  8. Oversee the repair and maintenance of assigned equipment.
  9. Responsible for all financial and operational metrics and budgets.
  10. Collaborates with Sales ensuring that the potential operational approach is sound and within the capabilities of the Team.
  11. Other duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
  • High School diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
  • Five + years experience in the Environmental field preferred.
  • Experience and ability in using Microsoft Office suite
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Valid Drivers’ License and ability to travel.
  • Previously led teams and managed remote locations preferred.
