Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center is hiring an operations manager for our new inpatient extended care rehab facility opening in Norfolk, VA. You will oversee facility maintenance, safety, and daily operations to support clinical staff and patients.

The role requires a high school diploma, preferred experience in substance abuse treatment, a valid driver's license, and strong organizational and multitasking abilities. We offer generous PTO and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED.
At least 1 year of experience in the substance abuse treatment industry (preferred).
Valid driver’s license.
Strong observational and communication skills.
Ability to collaborate and multitask.
Strong sense of responsibility and accountability.

Responsibilities

Manage complete maintenance of facility and property (fire drills, vehicle maintenance, tech support, inventory, storage etc.).
Complete periodic maintenance checklists to ensure functionality, safety and compliance
Oversee and direct custodial and housekeeping staff and all external contractors
Provide operational support whenever needed (i.e administrative errands, transportation coordination, event planning, security oversight, Accounts Payable etc.)
Collaborate with Executive Director and Administrator as necessary

What You'll Do
