Join Our Team at Even Hotel Long Island City - Operations Manager opportunity.

Salary Range: $65,000 - $75,000 per year

The purpose of the OPERATIONS MANAGER is to manage day-to-day hotel operations, ensuring brand standards, guest satisfaction, and operational efficiency, in accordance with established guest service and sustainability standards.

Essential Job Functions

  • Train, schedule and support team members, ensuring they perform in accordance with established brand or hotel standards and consistent with company core values.
  • Address guest concerns promptly, implement strategies to improve guest experience, and monitor guest satisfactions metrics.
  • Motivate and coach team members to deliver exceptional guest service, promote a positive work environment and foster a culture of accountability.
  • Ensure quality standards of complimentary food service stations are maintained.
  • Attend weekly meetings
  • Complete all required training, including brand-specific programs and company-mandated courses.
  • Manage labor, control expenses, maximize revenue and analyze financial performance reports to identify areas for improvement to fit within budgets and/or updated forecasts.
  • Position will work shifts crossing over from Breakfast Attendant to Guest Service Agent.
  • Create specific, measurable, achievable, realistic, and timely action plans to remedy guest service deficiencies.
  • Work as Manager on Duty, when necessary.
  • Complies with company policies and standards of conduct.
  • Practice safe work habits, wear protective safety equipment and follow MSDS and OSHA standards.
  • Perform other duties as requested by management.

Position Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1 to 2 years of related experience.

Work Environment and Context

  • Work schedule varies and may include working on holidays and weekends.
  • Requires standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, lifting up to 25 pounds, bending and reaching, stooping, kneeling, or crouching.
