Job summary

Fraport Tennessee - Nashville International Airport seeks an experienced Operations Manager to optimize sales and customer experience for the Nashville concession program.

Reporting to the Vice President of Operations, you will coordinate tenant relations, construction schedules, and ensure compliance, with a focus on health, safety and quality standards in a fast-paced airport environment.

Qualifications

• Five years of progressively responsible operations experience in property management, food & beverage, hospitality, real estate, or airport concessions management.
• Minimum three years of managing projects in a Food & Beverage/Hospitality setting.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain airport Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) badge.
• Visa Requirements: Must be legally authorized to work in the US.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a liaison between airport tenants and Fraport Nashville, fostering positive tenant and peer relationships at the airport
• Coordinate the construction build schedule in partnership with the corporate PMO
• Provide industry expertise to tenants, driving results in product presentation, store appearance and sales growth
• Ensures subtenants are in compliance with all facets of their sublease
• Assists with all areas of construction project management to ensure tenant projects are completed on time
• Interprets business problems and develops visualization solutions for use in decision making
• Manages the day-to-day business of assigned retail and food & beverage operators for best practice service; highest quality of operational standards; and health, safety and security compliance
• Performs regular operating audits on retail units, and partners with the Operator to review results, and restore negative impactors
• Establishes and maintains professional relationships with users, tenants, and airport representatives
• Represents Fraport USA at events, public and professional meetings
• Prepares detailed reports as required
• Reviews third-party contracts for compliance
• Performs other related duties as required

What You Will Be Doing:

Required Qualifications

• You will work in a small, nimble team in an exciting airport environment while liaising with USA and occasionally global headquarters support teams
• You will interact and problem solve with subtenants ranging from small entrepreneurs to multinational corporations and everything in between
• You will present to and respond to Airport Authority staff
• Visa Requirements: Must be legally authorized to work in the US

Physical Demands

The physical demands consist of moving from one work location to another, sitting or standing at a workstation for extended periods of time and may involve lifting objects weighing up to 25 pounds. Also, must be able to perform the physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodation
