Job summary

ApplyMint is seeking a Fueling Department Supervisor in Morrisville, NC to lead daily operations, coordinate fueling and de-fueling services, and ensure equipment and staff are ready to support flight schedules.

The role requires a bachelor's degree, strong communication, problem solving and safety focus, and a valid driver's license; aviation experience is a plus. You will oversee maintenance, safety, and compliance in a dynamic airport environment.

Qualifications

  • Aviation experience is desirable but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate all operations functions in the Fueling Department.
  • Ensure workers and equipment are available for fueling and de-fueling services.
  • Review reports and inspect facilities to improve efficiency and safety.
  • Prepare recommendations to improve fueling efficiency and safety practices.
  • Investigate accidents and implement preventive safety measures.
  • Oversee maintenance and compliance for GSE and equipment.
  • Maintain safety, security, environmental and compliance standards.

Description
Primary Accountabilities and Duties
  • Reviews data on incoming flights such as scheduled or estimated times of arrival or departure destinations and down line station stops in order to plan work activities.
  • Directs and coordinates all operations functions and ensures workers and equipment are available for fueling and de-fueling services.
  • Analyzes reports and records of operations and inspects facilities to determine effectiveness of existing methods and procedures and physical condition of facilities and equipment.
  • Prepares and submits recommendations designed to improve efficiency of fueling services.
  • Investigates causes of accidents and recommends safety measures for preventing further occurrences.
  • Oversees GSE Maintenance and equipment maintenance and compliance
  • Safety Security Environmental and Compliance
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Manages employees in the Fueling Department. Is responsible for the overall direction coordination and evaluation of this unit. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing hiring and training employees; planning assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints resolving problems and ensuring employees successfully complete companys training program.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelors degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read analyze and interpret general business periodicals professional journals technical procedures or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports business correspondence and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information to and respond to questions from groups of managers clients customers and the general public.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts interest commissions proportions percentages area circumference and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic math.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions furnished in written verbal diagram or schedule form.

CERTIFICATES LICENSES REGISTRATIONS

Drivers license.

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Excellent communications and interpersonal skills. Prior aviation experience is desirable.
