Title: Operations Manager - Private Residence

Reports To: Family Office Director

Employment Type: Full-Time, On-Site

Compensation: Salary between 100k and 120k + benefits

The Operations Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations and maintenance of a private residential property for a high-net-worth family. This role ensures the household operates seamlessly, staff are efficiently managed, and the property is maintained to the highest standards. The ideal candidate is discreet, highly organized, proactive, and brings substantial experience in luxury home or estate management. Additionally, they will play a pivotal role in supporting a fast-growing AI startup under incubation at the residence.

Responsibilities

Household Operations

• Develop and maintain household manuals, procedures, and maintenance schedules.
• Oversee all contractors, vendors, and service providers.
• Ensure the residence is consistently clean, organized, and guest-ready.
• Maintain household budgets and manage expenses, working in coordination with the family office.
• Manage household inventories (e.g., supplies, linens, pantry, wine cellar).
• Arrange and supervise repairs, renovations, and preventative maintenance.

Staff Management

• Recruit, train, and manage staff including housekeepers, chefs, drivers, and other support staff.
• Create and maintain staff schedules and ensure quality performance.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and facilitate team cohesion and professionalism.

Event Management

• Plan and execute private events, dinners, and gatherings.
• Coordinate guest stays, including housekeeping, amenities, and hospitality.
• Serve as a point of contact for the principal and guests while maintaining discretion at all times.

Travel & Logistics

• Manage travel-related arrangements (e.g., packing, transportation, scheduling).
• Prepare the residence before and after guest arrivals and departures.
• Maintain readiness of secondary properties, if necessary.
