Overview

Coleman Worldwide Moving is a full-service worldwide moving and storage company that is dedicated to servicing the transportation needs of corporations, governments, and individuals. The Operations Manager oversees day-to-day operations of the facility, ensuring departments are organized, efficient, and effective. The role ensures coverage of all jobs, timely issue resolution, and decisions to increase profitability and revenue.

Essential Functions

• Accept and register new shipments as necessary.
• Dispatch crews for each job each day, ensuring maximum workload.
• Driver assignments and coordination with corporate for shipment pickup.
• Input weekly payroll into the company system and process paperwork for new hires.
• Assist in recruiting OTR drivers.
• Audit fuel logs weekly.
• Oversee warehouse operations and ensure warehouse and surrounding lot are clean, orderly, and meet fire and RSMO inspections.
• Maintain logs for local equipment and trucks.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Knowledge of company systems.
• Strong communication skills and ability to articulate clearly.

• Familiarity with logistics and transportation industry.

Required Education and Experience

Working Conditions

• Mainly indoors; outdoor work sometimes required.
• Sitting for long periods indoors.
• Lifting up to 50 lbs sometimes required.
