Job summary

Coleman Worldwide Moving is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee daily operations, ensuring teams stay organized, efficient, and profitable. You will coordinate shipments, crews, and driver assignments while collaborating with corporate to optimize pickups and revenue.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED and prior managerial experience, with preferred logistics/transport experience. This role is primarily on-site at our Texas facility.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of logistics and transportation industry.
• Clear and effective communication skills.
• Ability to quickly solve problems and make decisions.
• Understanding of residential, commercial, and military moves.
• Familiarity with company systems and processes.

Responsibilities

• Accept and register new shipments as necessary.
• Dispatch crews for each job and maximize workload.
• Assign drivers and coordinate with corporate for pickups.
• Input weekly payroll and process new hire paperwork; assist in recruiting OTR drivers.
• Audit fuel logs weekly.
• Oversee warehouse operations; ensure clean, orderly grounds and pass inspections.
• Maintain logs for local equipment and trucks.
