Salary Range: $135k to $155k

Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead manufacturing operations at our Chagrin Falls facility. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient production while driving operational excellence and continuous improvement. As a key member of the site leadership team, you will develop high‑performing teams, optimize manufacturing performance, and foster a culture centered on safety, accountability, and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate is a collaborative leader with a strong manufacturing background, proven operational expertise, and a passion for developing people and improving processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Champion a safety‑first culture by ensuring compliance with all environmental, health, and safety (EHS) policies, regulations, and company standards.
- Drive operational excellence through the implementation and sustainment of Lean manufacturing principles, including 5S and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Lead, coach, and develop shift managers, technical experts, and production personnel to build an engaged, accountable, and high‑performing workforce.
- Develop and execute the production strategy in alignment with site objectives and overall business priorities.
- Monitor key performance indicators and leverage management systems to improve safety, quality, productivity, delivery, and overall operational performance.
- Manage operating and capital budgets while identifying opportunities to reduce costs, improve efficiencies, and optimize manufacturing processes.
- Partner closely with Supply Chain, Commercial, R&D, Finance, Human Resources, and other cross‑functional teams to achieve business objectives and drive operational success.
- Ensure consistent production of high‑quality products that meet customer specifications, regulatory requirements, and service expectations.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Manufacturing, Operations, or a related technical field, or equivalent manufacturing leadership experience.
- Seven or more years of progressive manufacturing operations leadership experience with a demonstrated record of improving safety, quality, productivity, and operational performance.
- Proven experience leading organizational change and driving continuous improvement within a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated success in coaching, mentoring, and developing leaders and production teams.
- Experience using SAP or a comparable ERP system, along with strong analytical, decision‑making, and problem‑solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a Process Safety Management (PSM) environment.
- Six Sigma certification or formal continuous improvement training.
- Hands‑on experience with Lean manufacturing methodologies and tools, including DMAIC, FMEA, 5S, Value Stream Mapping, or similar continuous improvement techniques.
- Experience supporting distribution or warehouse operations.
- MBA with a concentration in Operations, Finance, Accounting, or a related business discipline.
