Role Summary

Schedule: Sunday-Thursday 5:30pm-2:00am

The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing E-commerce, Wholesale, and Retail replenishment fulfillment in a multi-channel fulfillment center. The role requires leadership in a dynamic environment, guiding teams to meet ambitious goals, and expertise in Material Handling Equipment (MHE) automation methods to streamline operations.

Role Responsibilities
  1. Ensure customer satisfaction by timely delivery of products and collaboration with support teams to improve processes.
  2. Address operational issues with management and cross-functional teams.
  3. Build effective relationships across organizational levels using excellent communication skills.
  4. Mentor and develop supervisors, leads, and employees.
  5. Set performance standards and recognize achievements.
  6. Implement disciplinary actions when necessary, in collaboration with supervisors.
  7. Act as liaison between associates and senior management, including HR communication.
  8. Motivate team players with a positive attitude and strong communication skills.
  9. Proactively address maintenance and safety issues.
  10. Ensure compliance with Loss Prevention protocols.
  11. Lead startup meetings and conduct inspections to maintain quality standards.
  12. Cross-train associates to increase operational versatility.
  13. Provide equipment and supplies to support staff.
  14. Support other departments as needed and perform additional duties as assigned.
Role Qualifications
  1. College degree in relevant fields or equivalent work experience.
  2. 3-5 years of experience in a direct-to-consumer fulfillment environment.
  3. Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) like Manhattan and Order Management Systems (OMS).
  4. Leadership experience across various departments.
  5. Proven ability to lead teams and manage projects beyond departmental scope.
  6. Focus on departmental performance, efficiency, and overall operations.
  7. Experience in personnel development and talent growth initiatives.
  8. Ability to work overtime and maintain acceptable attendance.
Physical Requirements
  • Stand, walk, climb, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Operate warehouse equipment safely.
