We are seeking an Operations Manager to join our RWS Insulation team.

Position Overview:
The Operations Manager will oversee and optimize the day-to-day operations of our insulation projects and staff. This role combines project management, technician scheduling, material and fleet coordination, customer service, safety, and employee relations to ensure smooth, safe, efficient, and profitable operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage daily, weekly, and monthly technician schedules to ensure timely completion of projects.
• Monitor field operations to maintain productivity and quality standards.
• Enforce safety protocols and maintain a hazard-free work environment by addressing hazards and ensuring compliance.
• Coordinate resources to minimize downtime and optimize workforce efficiency.
• Oversee project timelines, budgets, and scope to ensure successful execution.
• Collaborate with sales, estimators, and field staff to transition projects from contract to completion.
• Address challenges or delays proactively and implement solutions to keep projects on track.
• Manage warehouse and facility activities including procurement, inventory accuracy, and efficient supply and distribution of insulation materials and supplies.
• Ensure materials are available on-site as needed to prevent project delays.
• Monitor material usage and costs to optimize inventory levels and reduce waste.
• Serve as a point of contact for clients during project execution, ensuring high satisfaction levels.
• Resolve customer concerns or complaints promptly and professionally.
• Maintain strong relationships with repeat and referral clients.
• Assist in managing company vehicles and equipment to ensure readiness, maintenance, and compliance.
• Coordinate transportation of materials and equipment to job sites efficiently.
• Foster a positive work environment and promote teamwork among field and office staff.
• Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback to employees.
• Assist with hiring, onboarding, and disciplinary actions as needed.
• Maintain operational documentation, including schedules, job reports, compliance records, and inventory logs.
• Support budgeting, cost tracking, and operational reporting.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and profitability.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in operations management, construction, or a related field.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Familiarity with project management, scheduling, and inventory management software.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Valid driver's license

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to visit job sites regularly and navigate construction environments.
• Occasionally lift or move materials and equipment as needed up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to operate a computer/PC for scheduling, reporting, and administrative tasks.
• Ability to drive company vehicles safely between job sites.
