Job summary

Tiello is seeking an Commercial Roofing Operations Manager in El Cajon, CA, to oversee planning and execution of commercial roofing projects from award through completion. You will coordinate with Operations, Sales & Estimating, Safety, vendors, subcontractors, and client representatives to ensure projects are properly staffed, supplied, and executed.

The role oversees P&L for the branch. The ideal candidate brings strong roofing operations experience, budgeting, scheduling, and field production

Qualifications

• Commercial roofing experience required.
• Strong understanding of roofing operations, project planning, and field production.
• Experience with project budgets, labor, materials, and scheduling.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead, coordinate, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Reports to Vice President of Operations

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project handoffs from Sales/Estimating to Operations.
• Review project scope, contracts, materials, staffing, safety requirements, and scheduling.
• Coordinate project start dates, material deliveries, equipment, and subcontractors.
• Communicate regularly with Superintendents to monitor project progress, quality, labor, and budget.
• Support billing, SOV, percentage-of-completion, and gross profit reporting.
• Manage relationships with key vendors and assist with equipment and vehicle rentals.
• Review operational invoices and support timely processing.
• Help resolve customer and field issues and improve the overall customer experience.
• Support safe, efficient operations and compliance with company policies.
• Monitor material usage, inventory, and equipment to help control costs and minimize unnecessary rentals.
• Manage 2 Superintendents and 5 Foreman and support the field production efforts

Job Title: Commercial Roofing Operations Manager

Compensation: $110K Base + Performance Bonuses + full benefit package

Tiello is currently partnered with an established San Diego County Commercial Roofing contractor in their search for an Operations Manager for their location in El Cajon, CA.

This position will support the planning and execution of commercial roofing projects from award through completion. This position works closely with Operations, Sales & Estimating, Safety, vendors, subcontractors, and client representatives to ensure projects are properly planned, staffed, supplied, and executed. The Operations Manager will have responsibility for the overall branch operations and P&L.

Compensation:

• $110K Base salary + Performance based bonuses
