Job summary

Essity is seeking an Operations Manager for its Dover, DE manufacturing facility. The role leads a department, drives safety, quality and efficiency, and manages the budget while implementing standards and maintenance plans.

Responsibilities

• Develop the organizational capability to deliver expected results with leadership, direction, and coaching for the department.
• Apply and develop systems and standards (work instructions, safety/quality/Maintenance procedures, Manufacturing Excellence best practices).
• Fulfil the maintenance plan (including cost).
• Use internal and external benchmarks to drive performance improvements.
• Contribute to the site's Compelling Business Need (CBN) and communicate it to the department.
• Develop department objectives aligned with site needs and cascade goals to teams.
• Ensure production orders are delivered on time, to spec and on cost.
• Ensure adherence to Safety, Quality, and Daily Direction Setting (DDS) standards.
• Manage the unit's operational budget and identify CAPEX needs for midterm plans.
• Serve as a role model for performance and accountability, coaching and education within the facility.

About the Role

Essity is currently recruiting for an Operations Manager for our manufacturing facility located in Dover, DE. What You Will Do

• Is a role model and accountable for performance & consequence management, coaching and education within their facility.
