Role Description

As the Operations Manager, you’ll be on the front lines of our daily workflow — driving the truck, leading moving crews, coordinating logistics with clients, managing bin drop-offs/pickups, and ensuring that every move runs smoothly. You’ll also take charge of managing inventory (bins), communicating with customers, and jumping in wherever needed to keep operations moving.

This role blends physical work with logistical coordination and leadership. Think of it as part crew lead, part dispatcher, part customer service, and part ops manager.

Role Description

• Drive our moving truck and lead residential moves from start to finish
• Coordinate move details with clients and team members
• Drop off and pick up reusable bins before and after moves
• Clean and sanitize bins between uses
• Manage day-of scheduling and on-site execution
• Lead, train, and supervise part-time movers on-site
• Maintain high standards for customer experience and professionalism
• Track bin inventory and ensure all equipment is accounted for

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Experience in operations, logistics, or service-based businesses
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• Clean driving record and valid driver’s license (box truck experience a big plus)
• Ability to lift and move 50+ lbs repeatedly
• Organized, proactive, and good under pressure
• Proficiency in basic software tools (Google Sheets, Microsoft Office)
• Prior moving or logistics experience preferred
