Job summary

The Budd Group in Charlotte, NC is seeking an energetic Operations Manager to oversee 2–3 large construction and post-construction cleaning projects, while managing key client accounts and maintaining our stellar reputation.

This hybrid, full-time role requires bilingual English and Spanish, experience in commercial janitorial/account management, and willingness to obtain OSHA 30 and Scissor Lift certifications.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a proactive Specialty Services Operations Manager, managing 2 to 3 large-scale construction/specialty cleaning projects while splitting recurring account oversight.
• Lead project kickoffs, coordinate with subcontractors, and schedule site resources (like scissor lifts and equipment).
• Communicate daily in English and Spanish to lead field staff, resolve site issues, and direct crews safely around active construction trades.
• Act as Commercial Services Manager by maintaining direct communication with key client accounts, conducting site walk-throughs, and preventing scope creep.
• Attend weekly Wednesday accounting and operational strategy meetings at the Charlotte branch.
• Process vendor billings and project phase completion entries in the operations software.

Pay: Competitive Base Salary + Operational Performance Incentive Plan (up to 20% bonus potential) + Vehicle Allowance.

What You Bring To The Team

Bilingual Fluency: Fluent in both English and Spanish (Required to effectively lead our field staff).

Industry Experience: Background in commercial janitorial, post-construction cleaning, or account management (Experience with companies like Citywide, ABM, JamPro, or Jani-King is a huge plus!).

Tech-Savvy: Comfortable with basic computer systems, daily reporting, and learning operational software (e.g., Coupa, Salesforce).

Leadership & Drive: A self-motivated leader with a strong customer service approach who can work independently without micromanagement.

Certifications: Willingness to earn OSHA 30 and Scissor Lift certifications (paid training provided).
