Job summary

GALE Pacific Limited is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead a key manufacturing operation in Charlotte, NC. You will drive production performance, optimize planning, and ensure on-time customer delivery through cross‑functional collaboration with Sales, Planning, and Supply Chain teams.

This role requires regular weekly travel to Spartanburg, SC, and a hands‑on approach to lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and cost control to strengthen overall operational excellence.

Job description

We're looking for an experienced Operations Manager to lead a key manufacturing operation based in Charlotte, NC.

This is a broad, hands‑on role responsible for driving production performance, improving operational efficiency and ensuring customer demand is met through effective planning and execution. You'll work across production, inventory, forecasting and supply chain activities while leading continuous improvement initiatives that enhance productivity, reduce waste and strengthen operational performance.

Supporting a strategic partner operation, you'll work closely with Sales, Customer Service, Planning and Operations teams to deliver strong customer outcomes while maintaining service levels, lead times and operational excellence.

This role is based in Charlotte, NC and requires regular weekly travel to Spartanburg, SC to support site operations, conduct audits and align with onsite leadership.

What you'll do:

What you'll bring:

• Minimum four (4) year bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in supply chain management, business administration, engineering, or related work experience
• Experience in manufacturing, supply chain, or operations leadership
• Strong production planning, forecasting and inventory management capability
• Experience implementing lean manufacturing principles
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to interpret data and drive performance improvements
• Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Experience with Dynamics 365 or similar ERP systems preferred
• Commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement
• Experience within manufacturing, home improvement, consumer goods, textiles or related industries will be highly regarded.
