Job summary

GALE Pacific Limited is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead a key manufacturing operation in Charlotte, NC. You will drive production performance, optimize planning, and ensure on-time customer delivery through cross‑functional collaboration with Sales, Planning, and Supply Chain teams.

This role requires regular weekly travel to Spartanburg, SC, and a hands‑on approach to lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and cost control to strengthen overall operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a relevant field.
• Experience leading manufacturing or operations.
• Strong planning, forecasting, and inventory skills.
• Experience with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement.
• Excellent data analysis and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day manufacturing operations.
• Plan production capacity and support KPIs.
• Manage production schedules and customer orders.
• Own demand planning and forecasting activities.
• Align inventory with capacity and customer requirements.
• Analyze performance and drive improvements.
• Implement lean and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Develop and maintain SOPs and training materials.
• Manage material shortages and supply continuity.
• Control manufacturing and transport costs.
• Support strategic planning and business improvement projects.
• Resolve escalated issues with customers or operations.
