This is a hands‑on position that combines daily gym operations, staff leadership, customer service, youth programming, and community outreach. You’ll work closely with the owner while taking ownership of day-to-day responsibilities and helping develop new opportunities for the business.

Key Responsibilities
Gym Operations & Team Leadership

  • Manage staff scheduling, training, communication, and accountability.
  • Work regular front desk shifts, providing exceptional customer service and building relationships with members and guests.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, customer experience, and overall gym operations.
  • Support membership growth and retention through positive member experiences.
Youth Programs & Community Engagement
  • Oversee and help grow youth climbing programs, camps, classes, and special events.
  • Support coaches and ensure consistent, high-quality programming.
  • Build relationships with local schools, organizations, businesses, and community partners.
  • Develop new programs, partnerships, and outreach opportunities that introduce more people to climbing.
  • Help coordinate events that strengthen our climbing community.
Business Growth & Development
  • Bring creativity, vision, and fresh ideas to help the gym continue growing.
  • Take initiative in identifying new opportunities for programming, revenue, and community involvement.
  • Collaborate with the owner on business goals and help turn ideas into actionable plans.
  • Help promote a positive, inclusive gym culture for staff, members, and visitors.
What We’re Looking For
  • Previous management or leadership experience required, including experience supervising and supporting a team.
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills, with a genuine enthusiasm for connecting with people.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Experience working with youth programs, recreation, coaching, or community organizations strongly preferred.
  • A proactive, self‑motivated approach and the ability to work independently.
  • Creativity, vision, and excitement about helping a small business grow.
  • A passion for climbing, outdoor recreation, and building community.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including some evenings and weekends.
Why Join Endurance?

This is an opportunity to make a real impact at a growing, independently owned climbing gym. You’ll have the freedom to contribute ideas, develop meaningful programs, build community connections, and help shape the direction of the business.
