Daimler Truck North America in Portland, OR is seeking motivated interns for a Summer program supporting Aftermarket Logistics and Operations. You will contribute to a major WMS/EWM upgrade and collaborate with vendor, IT, Operations, and Finance to deliver the rollout.

Interns gain hands-on experience across 11 PDCs, with potential for full-time placement based on performance and business needs.

Formación

• Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s program or recently graduated within 1 year of start date (May/June).
• Degree associated to Logistics or Distribution Operations or related field.
• Understanding of Project Management Methodology (Waterfall and/or Agile).
• Knowledge of project management tools like Jira, CALM, Microsoft Office, Azure DevOps.
• Customer oriented with drive to develop customer-focused solutions.
• Ability to work in ambiguity and ongoing change.
• Passion for driving positive outcomes for customers.
• Passion for Automotive or Trucking.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Solid organizational skills.
• Creative mindset.
• Interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team.

Responsabilidades

• Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency in warehouse operations.
• Collaborate with supply chain and logistics to implement improvements and a future strategy roadmap.
• Create detailed process documentation of procedures and key system features.
• Develop methods to report and track risk factors for change management.
• Assist in delivering project deliverables on time and within budget.
• Design visuals to represent task semantics and feed dashboards with progress.
