Job summary

Daimler Truck North America invites interns to gain real-life learning across DTNA locations in the US, with summer starts in May or June and potential for future full-time roles based on performance and business needs.

The Project Management Intern will support the Aftermarket Logistics and Operations team, helping upgrade the WMS to the EWM platform and coordinating with vendor, IT, and operations teams to roll out eleven PDCs, including a pilot in Des Moines planned for late Q1 2026.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or higher in a relevant field, or recent graduate.
• Degree in Logistics or Distribution Operations or related field.
• Familiar with Waterfall and/or Agile PM principles.
• Knowledge of Jira, CALM, Azure DevOps, and Microsoft Office.
• Customer-oriented with adaptability to change.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities for process optimization in warehouse operations.
• Collaborate with supply chain and logistics to implement improvements and future strategy roadmap.
• Create detailed process documentation outlining step-by-step procedures.
• Develop robust methods to report and track risk factors and impact.
• Support project leads and manager in delivering on time and on budget.
• Design visual aids and graphics to represent task progress in dashboards.
• Coordinate meetings, publish minutes, and drive closure on topics.
• Assist in change management communications and stakeholder alignment.
• Support post-launch topics including scope maintenance.
• Assist in warehouse systems design and continuous improvements.
• Use analytics to understand, predict, and optimize distribution processes.
• Promote lean practices and an inclusive, collaborative culture.
