Job summary

SEFL is seeking a Management Trainee in Summerville, SC. You will participate in a 16-week Operations Management Trainee Program designed to prepare you for an initial leadership role in operations.

Under a mentor, you will learn the basic principles of the transportation industry, efficient cross-dock operations, effective leadership communication, and relationship-building skills. Upon completion, relocation to another facility for your first leadership role in Operations will be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Transportation or Logistics or two years of related work experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Professional demeanor and appearance at all times.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a 16-week Operations Management Trainee Program to prepare for a leadership role.
• Interface with Support Center and Service Center associates in training activities.
• Observe an Account Manager during customer sales calls and drivers on local routes.
